The stainless steel shaft is decent, but the overall feel is plasticky. It's louder than I'd like, and the lack of speed control is limiting. At $42.90, it's pricier than the similar NBI-100 model listed elsewhere for $20—so shop around. It gets the job done, but there are better values.
